As part of Ship Security International Ltd’s commitment to achieving industry recognised accreditation and wider strategy of being at the forefront in this area, on 10th September 2014, Ship Security International Ltd successfully completed and passed Stage 2 of the audit process to gaining certification of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 – the internationally recognised Occupational Health and Safety standard. Whilst formal confirmation of full accredited certification is still awaited from MSS Global, SSI’s chosen certification body, based on initial feedback and SSI’s 100% record of passing every audit undertaken to date, confidence in achieving this is extremely high.

Once more SSI’s Integrated Management System has demonstrated, following relentless external scrutiny over the past year, its continued ability to support the very highest service delivery standards SSI’s clients have come to expect.

SSI’s plans of undertaking ISO 14001:2004 certification remains on track, with the aim of completing this by the end of 2014.
